Jay Bhayani

Jay Bhayani

Director (LLB (Hons) Law)

Jay is the founder director of Bhayani Recruitment and a specialist employment law solicitor with over 25 years’ experience dealing with all aspects of HR and employment law. She has established an impressive reputation as one of the leading employment lawyers in the Yorkshire region and has won various accolades including Yorkshire lawyer employment lawyer of the year, ABDN Professional of the Year and short listing for the Yorkshire and Humberside Institute of Directors business adviser of the year award. With an inherent passion for helping people to be the best they can be, Jay brings a refreshing, honest and industrious approach to the recruitment industry.

Phoebe Davies

Recruitment Advisor

Phoebe has worked in HR & Talent for 5 years, has an LLB Hons degree in Law and is currently studying her CIPD Level 7 Diploma in Strategic People Management.

Phoebe has been responsible for a number of our Watertight HR & Legal package clients since 2018, advising on all aspects of the employment life cycle and working practice from recruitment to termination in the private and third sector. She helps organisations resolve issues quickly and effectively as well as assisting with their people projects, particularly during periods of growth and change.

Prior to joining Bhayani Recruitment and Bhayani Law she worked in HR for a rapid growth company within the Ed Tech sector within HR looking after a team of 500+ across both office and remote locations including internationally.

Being a people expert, she partners with clients to understand their hiring needs and can assist with talent management from start to finish; from job design, creating role profiles and job descriptions, through to resourcing and interviewing, onboarding and retention.

Within her role at our sister company Bhayani Law, she also can assist with compliance and documentation, workforce planning and employee relations such as investigations, grievance, disciplinary and restructure/redundancy.

Alice Bradshaw

Alice Bradshaw

Recruitment Administrator

Alice provides invaluable support to the entire Bhayani Recruitment team and is our specialist Recruitment Administrator and Digital Marketing expert. Taking a lead on our social media activities, Alice is also responsible for looking after clients and is usually their main point of contact. During her time as Office Administrator at Bhayani Law, Alice was nominated for a Office Hero award thanks to her fantastic client service, enthusiasm and all round efficiency.

Chilli Bhayani

Employee Happiness Officer (EHO)

Meet Chilli, our office dog. Chilli was born in December 2020 and joined Team Bhayani to spread a little happiness across the teams at Bhayani Law and Bhayani recruitment.

Chilli’s main duties include licking of envelopes, shredding confidential waste and greeting clients. As our EHO, Chilli is responsible for keeping her human colleagues smiling. She is a natural stress buster and gives everyone an excuse to exercise instead of sitting at their desk for too long.

In her spare time, Chilli likes to chase her tail, go for walks, chew slippers, and snooze as much as possible.
